বঙ্গবন্ধু শেখ মুজিবুর রহমান বাংলাদেশের মহান স্বাধীনতার স্থপতি ও বাঙ্গালী জাতির অবিসংবাদিত নেতা। জাতীর পিতা বঙ্গবন্ধু শেখ মুজিবুর রহমান, যে সুখী-সমৃদ্ধ দেশ গড়ার স্বপ্ন দেখতেন সেখানে কোনো নির্দিষ্ট শ্রেনীর প্রতিনিধিত্ব করতেন না। তিনি ছেয়েছিলেন সব শ্রেনী-পেশার মানুষের মুক্তি। তিনি সবার জন্য সোনার বাংলা নির্মানের স্বপ্ন দেখতেন। আলহামদুলিল্লাহ সমস্ত প্রশংসা মহান আল্লাহ সুবহানল্লাহুতাআলার জন্য তাঁর অশেষ রহমতে বঙ্গবন্ধুর দেখানো পথে তার সুযোগ্য উত্তরসূরি বাংলাদেশের সফল প্রধানমন্ত্রী শেখ হাসিনার হাত ধরে হাঁটছে বাংলাদেশ। স্বাধীনতা উত্তর বাংলাদেশে সমুদ্র বন্দরে মেরিন কন্ট্রাকটরদের ঘাম জড়ানো শ্রমে দেশের অর্থনৈতিক চাকা সচল হয়েছে। বহু ত্যাগ তিতীক্ষা আর বাধা-বিপত্তি পেরিয়ে অনেক চেষ্টা সাধনার পর ১১ অগ্রহায়ণ ১৪২৬, ২৬ নভেম্বর ২০১৯ তারিখে গনপ্রজাতন্ত্রী বাংলাদেশ সরকারের বাণিজ্য মন্ত্রনালয় হতে “বাংলাদেশ মেরিন কন্ট্রাকটর এসেসিয়েশন (বিএমসিএ)” বানিজ্য সংঘটন লাইসেন্স নাম্বার Reg. TO License No. 25/2019 প্রাপ্ত হয়ে জয়েন্ট স্টক কোম্পানিজ পরিদপ্তর অফিসে গত ০৯ জানুয়ারী ২০২০ নিবন্ধীত নাম্বার CHTO- 52/2020 । নিবন্ধীত হয়ে দেশের শীর্ষ বাণিজ্য সংগঠন এফবিসিসিআই তে অধিভুক্তি লাভ করেছে। এই নিরলস পথ চলায় দেশের সকল মেরিন কন্ট্রাকটরদের জানাই আমার পক্ষ হতে লাল গোলাপ শুভেচ্ছা আর অভিনন্দন। নিরন্তর এই পথচলা শুভ হোক, স্বার্থক হোক ও সর্বজনীন হোক মুজিব শতবর্ষে এই কামনাই করছি।

Domestic and foreign sea-going ships' arriving at The Ports of Bangladesh for the purpose of unloading the necessary import-export goods of Bangladesh have to provide the necessary services to the ship as a signatory to international law to meet the ship's demand (IMO). The following various categories of licenses are issued by the Port Authority for Marine Contractors / Vendors as per the port law on direct appointment of Ship Owners, Ship Managers, Ship Management, Ship Charters, Ship Captains / Masters.
Provides Marine Contractor / Vendor Services licensed by the Port Authority on the basis of the said category. The Marine Contractor are engaged in this business transacts huge amount of foreign currency through Bangladesh Bank by providing shipping services directly to the Overseas Shipping Company. It plays a huge role in the economy of the country and the concerned contractor pays income tax in the revenue sector of the government. An estimated 15,000 labor-related families are involved in this business. At present, we are organized to obtain T.O. license in order to ensure the business interests of the temporary service providers involved in this business. On this basis, we formed the "Bangladesh Marine Contractors Association".
